FIRST FRIDAY ART CRAWL! Join us this Friday 5-9pm and celebrate a successful Art Hop Exhibition featuring over 80 artists. We found homes for SO MUCH work already but still have hundreds of pieces left at stellar prices.

We’ve also been in business now for 16 years! Celebrate our Birthday and year 2 of new ownership! We LOVE Birthday cards wink wink 😉

Enjoy meeting some of the artists, sipping on free bevies donated by Zero Gravity and Foam Brewers, non-alcoholic options and snacks provided! We’re giving away a $100 gallery gift certificate, one free entry to everyone who visits during our First Friday reception, additional entries for $5 donations!

The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery is honored to celebrate the holiday shopping season by showcasing fun art in the perfect gift giving sizes! All artwork is sized under 12 inches and over 24″. Shop small and support local with works created by 130 local artists! All ready to wrap and gift to your favorite art lover or gift to yourself! Varying prices starting at $25 and up to suit all budgets.

Please join us for our Opening Reception: Friday, November 1st from 5-9pm

‘Phased’ Art Exhibition Inspired by the 2024 Eclipse

The moon pushes and pulls the tides, similar to how art moves us. We experience our own cycles through the orbital glow of the moon and the life giving energy of the sun. How do we feel when they dance together? In this curated exhibition, The Space Gallery invites you to experience celestial creations by seven local Vermont artists. All working in different mediums sharing a theme of the cosmos and the atmosphere we know.

* We will be open on Monday April 8th during the eclipse! We have a straight shot to the sun in our main entrance parking lot near the astronaut mural. We’ll have some protective eyewear on hand but it is advised to bring your own in case we run out. Enjoy the experience of a lifetime with us! Parking will be limited so if you live nearby consider walking!

‘The Space Gallery 2021 Members Exhibition’ 

Deadline for Entry: Ongoing, form must be submitted before final drop off day of May 26 at 6pm

Exhibition Duration: Friday, June 11 – Saturday, August 7, 2021

Opening Reception: Friday, June 11 from 6-9pm

The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery seeks submissions of artwork from current and new members! Members may show 1 to 3 pieces of any artwork regardless of theme or medium. Select work that you are proud of, represents your personal style, or is something new you are trying! You may show new or old work, work you’re excited to sell, or just have fun! 

We ask that the art be framed or ready to hang on the wall with a wire on the back. There are limitations on certain content and 3-D work, please email spacegalleryvt@gmail.com if you feel your work may be pushing the boundaries of what we can host for the summer in The Soda Plant Hallways. 

Details: Summer members exhibition that is open to the public for easy socially distanced self-guided tours Mondays – Saturdays! Gallery attendants Fridays and Saturdays from 12-5pm.

Membership fee is $45 and includes this members show, a listing on our website, first dibs on showing at Art Hop and discounts on shows year-round! Free to current members!

Socially distanced drop off times or mailing address to be announced should the work be selected, to arrive February 5 – 9, 2021.

About the Show: The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery seeks submissions of artwork that exude emotion, feeling, and cause reactions. Whether in the creation process from the artist, in the content of the piece, or in the response from the viewer while taking in the work, we are looking forward to seeing it all. All mediums, sizes, and content will be considered.

Juried and curated, you will be notified if your work is selected for this exhibition.

Entry Fee applies only if the work is selected: $15 per artist, $10 for members. Free to apply. We do not deny entry based on inability to contribute.
