SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: Held Together: An Group Exhibition of Analog Collage
Held Together invites viewers to look closely at imagery that may initially not seem to belong… until it does. These hand-made collages by 80 artists exist in fragments: small acts of care and patience, composed of pieces cut, arranged, and held in place.
For some artists, collage functions as a calming, grounding practice. Slow, repetitive, and attentive. For others, it operates as a disruptive gesture, interrupting dominant narratives and exposing seams rather than concealing them. The works in this exhibition move between these impulses.
Some soothe, others challenge; all ask us to pause and attend to acts of care. In a time that often demands speed and certainty, Held Together honors collage as a practice of presence and quiet labor. The exhibition reflects a shared human impulse to gather what remains and to consider how we hold ourselves, one another, and the world together, if only for a moment.

Held in honor of Small Business Saturday, this event supports our local community by bringing together 30 talented guest makers, artists, and many small business owners under ONE roof. Creative vendors lining the halls, Soda Plant businesses open with exciting offerings! This Bazaar is a celebration of craftsmanship, connection, and the joy of shopping locally during the holiday season.

Thanks to generous donations by our artisans & businesses in the Soda Plant, we’ve put together a fantastic array of raffle prizes! $1 raffle tickets will be sold to support the local organization OutRightVT, who offer invaluable services for our LGBTQ+ youths. Thirty Odd Gift Shop is selling grab bags to support Vermont Food Bank along with thousands of items for sale by local makers. The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery is hosting hundreds of small original artworks priced to gift. Beenanza is launching their NEW CoverAll Block-printing Kits, & special deals at Explore Designs, Jen Kahn Jewelry, Pepper Lee, Pitchfork Pickle, Brio, Haymaker and more!! Stash is stacked with all your sewing needs and will be hosting some handmade makers in their shop. Venetian Soda Lounge will be hosting live piano music, merriment and a dance night with Los Songoros through the evening! We’ll have the best marshmallows in the world (in our opinion) provided by VT Marshmallow Co along with their smores/cocoa kits! There will be wreaths for birds, wreaths for humans, candles, witchy goods, body goods, hand woven scarves, pottery, home decor, visual art, hair tinsel, the list goes on!

We had an INCREDIBLE turnout during SEABA’s 32nd Annual Art Hop earlier this month. We’re so thankful for the thousands of viewers who came through to enjoy and support the talent displayed on our walls. The positive energy was felt all around the weekend and it was contagious!
We invite you to gather with us for our monthly First Friday opening Oct. 4th 4-8pm, to celebrate the 70 artists showcased in this year’s Art Hop Exhibition at The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery! A second chance for folks who couldn’t make it during the hop (Otis peeps, we see you :)~ and a chance to meet and mingle with some of the artists on display. There are still hundreds of works at very affordable prices ready to bring joy in your home. We will also be offering a chance to win a SPACE Gallery $100 Gift Card for everyone who attends!
