Art Map Burlington has helped to co-ordinate the First Friday Art Walks here in Burlington, Vermont for a while now, and we’re so glad they do! Tonight, here at The Space, we are welcoming a solo show by Jme Wheeler, entitled Ink & Sugar, from 5-9pm.
Wheeler uses his computer as his paint, paintbrush, and canvas to portray women in a unique and beautiful light. Jme states that, “…for me, painting women is as much about line, color, and shape, as it is about beauty. The curves and softness of women are ceaselessly enjoyable to paint, and their ability to support any color palette offers endless opportunities for design and composition.”
Come check out the nearly 30 pieces tonight from 5-9pm, or drop in on any given Thursday in March from 11-4pm.
