New show goes up this week! ‘Make Art, Repeat.’ opens this Friday from 5-9pm.
‘Make Art, Repeat.’, is an exhibition featuring new work by Ashley Roark, Greg Mamczak, and Christy Mitchell. Each artist, in turn, has been exploring the use of repetition as a theme in their work.
Ashley Roark pushes the idea of what materials can be used in art, while exploring the use of line and shadow.
Greg Mamczak is further distilling his previous use of cut out figures and paint by number style, to produce new rhythms in his paintings.
Christy Mitchell begs the question, ‘Can art be expressed through scientific inquiry?’, with a study on patterns found in personal experiments with ink using limited variables.
The show will be up through November 30th, you may come by the opening, drop in, make an appointment, or check us out during our new open hours on Thursdays starting mid-month.
